Our client RK, was a 40 year old short order cook.

He was on his way home from work – crossing an intersection on a green light just after dark, when suddenly and unexpectedly he was struck hard and knocked to the ground by a large delivery truck making a left turn.

Instead of spending his evening with family as planned – RK was airlifted to a Trauma Centre.

RK suffered a catastrophic head injury – in addition to numerous other physical injuries.

His family contacted us while he was still in the Trauma Centre and we got to work immediately ensuring that a team was in place to manage RK’s care.

We also opened a dialogue with the insurer of the vehicle responsible for the accident to ensure that they had all the information they needed to properly assess their financial responsibility to RK and his family.

We spent over $100,000 to build and properly present Randy’s claim.

On the two year anniversary of his accident we secured a $5 million settlement for RK and his family.

The settlement included a large structured settlement that ensures that RK never has to worry about money ever again – and that all his future care costs needs were taken care of.

RK has gone on to make a heroic recovery – and although he will never be the man he was before the accident, he is now living independently with assistance and surround by the love of his family.
